A brand new game in its honey moon period that released Yinling and Jinhsi two hyped up characters and 1.1 early plus Jiyan. Barely did better on global than a game that is long past the hype had a dead patch and only one character anyone cared about. Yeah it's doing so well.

Wuwa performing bad in CN might be a bad thing because usually CN are the ones spending the most for gacha. This might lead Kuro to cater more to CN community and implementing their suggestions as changes and this might alienate the global playerbase because CN and global have very different philosophies when it comes to what they consider good game design.

It's a bit hard for wuwa to compete with Genshin in income because wuwa is cheaper. Wuwa's rate is relatively good and the weapon gacha banner cost less. Also meta unit means less because you can just play with any unit you want. So imho, I think wuwa did pretty well this time and they done satisfied most of their playerbase.

Pretty impressive that wuwa is at the top even tho its way less predatory compare to HSR and grnshin and I bet a lot of wuwa player only play at PC.

The fact that WuWa haven't release it on console.. They literally just need to optimize it to few types of devices, like PS4, 5, XBOX Series X, S, it is 100 times easier to optimize that optimizing to different gears in phone and PC. Why are they loving to torture themselves like this.

Doesn’t Mortal Kombat have gacha game mechanics now? I didn’t play 11 but I played 10 and unless I’m losing my mind I’m pretty sure there was heavily randomized gear to upgrade your characters. It was damn near impossible to obtain without breaking out the old wallet.

Wuwa is super cheap compared to Genshin, the characters take 20 less pulls, you can buy limited character constellations with corals from coral shop, there's targeted weapon banner, and the weapon banner is HUGE. genshin takes 1000-1200 pulls for a R5 weapon while wuwa takes only 400 pulls at most. So whales can't really spend much because everything is so cheap and they get it too easily. On the other hand, genshin's scam banner is alone enough to make 2x more money than wuwa. Also in mobile port the optimization is terrible, despite that many people played and spent money on that. Considering all that, wuwa did pretty good.

I like HSR better. Skipped Firefly. I pulled an additional copy of Ruan Mei and I got her LC now. So now I have her at e1s1 and let me tell you bro… she’s cracked! I’m thoroughly enjoying WuWa I’m just not a big action combat guy. Mostly because I’m old and I suck. But yeah loving WuWa. I’ve spent like $200 so far. I’ll continue buying the astrite sub and the battle pass until I get bored.

Wuwa’s first big unit was Yinlin, iirc that sent its sales to top 1 in Japan. Now with another juggernaut in Changli coming soon you should expect a similar strong revenue too. Then other massive ones like Scar and Camellya as well, future is looking great for it.

This is more of a long term observation, but as phone tech gets better over the years i think may wuwa may exponentially increase its playerbase. these could be returning players who werent able to play on mobile at launch or found the optimisation to be lacking, but still found the game very enjoyable. Overall im hoping they port wuwa over to console and this could help it get a second wind in the market. there needs to be a healthy amount of competition so consumers from all 3 games (wuwa,hsr,genshin) can benefit and Im hoping wuwa will put up a good fight.

These numbers aren't accurate, and shouldn't be taking seriously for now. HSR and WW should be higher than that, anyway I dont think FF and RM can outsell the EMeneyteer
